A voice is calling me someplace beyond the waves
To live a life of living amongst the living graves
To wash away the clocks that ticked away my time
To dance upon the mountains life told me I must climb
My heart it beats to this rhythm you once played within
My smile’s lost when it’s not placed upon my chin
My fingers tap upon the framework of the days I’ve yet to know
I till the earth screaming forth the hollow seeds I used to sow
As I unpack the crowded storage spaces of my mind
I retrieve from dusted boxes endless time
